How it Works

From enrolling to taking courses to getting transcripts…

You can do it easily all online…

1. Sign Up

Enroll and sign up for classes. You can do it all online or call for support.

2. Log In

You will receive an email with your user name and password. Log in, create a new password, enter your personal info, and have a look around your “online campus.” The main screen is called the “Dashboard” and contains all the important info about your courses and progress.

3. Take Courses

After logging in, you will click “Go to Courses” on the left side of the page to get started in a class. Students can take their courses from any Internet-connected computer anywhere in the world. Content and resources are available 24/7. Take one course at a time or take a few.

4. Get Support

Online does not mean alone! Students have the support of Florida-certified teachers who are dedicated to their students’ success. We believe that excellent, passionate, and experienced teachers are the key to successful students. Technical support is available 24/7. Our students get the help they need when they need it.

5. Complete Courses

Woo-hoo! No matter how awesome a course is, the best part is when a student completes it successfully.

6. Transfer Credits (for non diploma seeking students)

If you are a part time student with SVA, within 10 days of the end of your course, we will send an Official Transcript to your school. Parents can request transcripts at any time. Note: We strongly recommend that you have your school Registrar or Guidance Counselor confirm that the courses will transfer before completing the courses.

7. Do it Again

Whether you are a full-time diploma-seeking student, or just taking courses with us part time, we hope you’ll be back to continue your studies with us the following semester.  We are always looking for ways to improve so please email us at info@somersetvirtualacademy.com with any comments or suggestions.
